The numbers on the Coupon correspond with the numbers On the Puzzle. Full name and address of competitor to be added to ensure Prizes reaching the proper destination. Pen names will not be accepted. f>. Envelopes containing the Coupon or Coupons must be addressed to " PtrZMJS Editok, ' Canterbury Times,' Christ-church." Coupons can be posted or delivered to the "Times" Office, either singly week by week, in batches, or altogether in one packet at tho close of the competition. The latest date on which answers will be received will be only auaownced on page 47 of the " Canterbury Times" of September 1& 3. --Competitors can send in as many sets of Coupons as they may desire. provided that each set must bear a distinguishing mark—" A," "B," •' C," &c ■4. -No member of the Company's staff, nor any person connected with the Office, will be allowed to compete. 5.—A Judge or Jndges will be appointed, whose decision on all matters connected with the competition shall be final, and competitors may only enter on this understanding. 6.—Prises will be awarded as follows : First prize £25 (Twenty-five pounds sterling) to the competitor sending in the largest number of correct answers on any one set of Coupons. Second prime £lO (Ten pounds sterling) to the competitor (not winner of the first prize) sending in the next largest number of correct answers, and so on with respect to the other prizes. 7.—ln the event of ties, Ihe prizes will, at the discretion of the Judges, be either divided or further puzzles will be set until tl»c prizes be won outright. J B,—-The Proprietors will accept no responsibility for any loss or delay in the transmission of tho Coupons, nor for any accidental lpss after delivery at the offico of the Company, but every care will be exercised to prevent loss after delivery. POINTS OF INTEREST TO COMPETITORS. The competition will close with the issue of Sept. 8. The final date on •which Coupons will be received will bo announced later. Address all letters containing Coupons to " Puzzle Editor, Canterbury Times,' Christchurch." Do not address to "Manager." Letters may be posted any timo before the date of closing. Answers not written on the Coupon Form will not be accepted. Any number of attempts to solve the Puzzle may be madeMark each Coupon series "A," "B," " C,"etc., to keep them in sequence. Care should be exercised to write answers to each week's Puzzle only on the Coupon published in the same issue. Don't forgot to sign each Coupon sent in with full namo and address, so that the prize, if won, can't go astray. Insufficiently stamped or unstamped lottcrs will not be accepted, and no «;o»respondent* will bo entered into by tlie Editor in connection with the competition. DON'T MISS TRIfING.
