LADIES’ MATCHES. At the Itangiora Domain yosterday Digby’s A team defeated Rangiora by five goals to nil. Tho game was a fast one, and four goals wore scored in the first- half, Thereafter the Rangiora team played with, better combination, and several times nearly scored. Miss P. Clemens scored three of the goals, and Misses N. Jowett and. E. Wildermoth one each. Mr M. Goldbury was referee. 'Timaru defeated Ashburton by three goals to nil after a fast and interesting game at Ashburton yesterday. MrW. Meechan, was referee.
Addington Senior and Ashburton Senior met at Ashburton yesterday, and
after a very interesting game the visitors won by four goals shot by A. Rankin (2), W. Do-ig and R. Brov, ning to one shot by D. Amos. Mr H. Hatch was referee. Addington -Junior and Ashburton Junior also met at Ashburton yesterday. Addington won by seven _ goals to nil. The scorers wore A. Hollis (3), R. Hollis, C. Clark, N. Francis and R. Granger. Mr H. Hatch was referee.
