ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS.
Mr C. H. Walter was yesterday elected to represent the' Styx ward on tile Avon Road Board. The polling was as follows:—C. H. Walter JOS, J. Fitzpatrick 65. A poll was taken yesterday for the election of three members of the Spreydon Boad Board. There- were five candidates, and the voting was as follows:—T. Thornton 156, R. Powrie 129, \V. H. Atkinson 112, W. R. Gahagan 9(3. AV. T>alley 6-1.
Messrs Hugh Eaglesome. John Gilinour and 0. P. Hugonin were elected members of the HulWe]] Boad Board at a poll taken yesterday. The voting was as follows:—II. Eaglesome 174, ,T 7 Gilmour 134, C. P. Hugonin 124, O. M'Gough 88. B. Bainoy 64. . , There were only three nominations for the vacancies on the Eakaia Boad Board, and as the number required was not exceeded, Messrs K. Wilson, G. Steele and D. W. Westcnra were declared' elected.
