The articles of the sculling chain™ pionship race were signed this morning by Arnst and Webb. Tlio race has been fixed for June 22 on the Wanganui River. The second deposit is due on May 31, and the~fi,nal payment of £3OO is due- the week before-the race. The champion lias commenced training operations, being paced by Fogweil. Webb, ‘who is iii good, form, is doing light work. He will be paced by Wheich during tho last month.
