NOTICE isheTeby given that at a SPECIAL MEETING of the Christchurch Drainage Board, held on the twenty-third day of April, 1909, a Resolution was udopted that, for the purpose of providing interest and. other charges on a loan of £IOO,OOO, authorised to bo raised by the Christchurch Drainage Board under " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and' amendments, " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and " The Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1875, Amendment Act, 1905," for' the purposes in the last-naentioaed Act specified, the Board makes and levies * SPECIAL RATE, of ONE-FIFTH of » PENNY in tie POUND upon the rateable value of all rateable property within that part of the Christchurch Drainage District which is known as the Sewage Area as now constituted, or may hereafter be extended, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate, and payable yearly on tho first day of AUGUST in each year during the currency of such loan; or until the loan is fully paid off, tho first payment to fall due and be made on the first day of AUGUST, 1909. Notice is hereby also given that a Resolution was also adopted by the Board at the. said meeting that the Special Resolution adopted by the Board at its meeting held on the twenty-fifth day of May, 1906, and confirmed at its subsequent meeting, held on the twenty-fifth day of June, 1906, be amended by striking out the words " at a rate not exceeding 250 debentures representing £25,000 in any one year," where they occur in the said resolution.
