THE HIGH COMMISSIONER’S OFFICE.
[Peti Press Association.] WELLINGTON. April 21. At the Grand Hotel this evening, Mr T. Hamer, Under-secretary for Mines, who is about to go to England as auditor in the High Commissioner’s Office, and Mr T. E. Donne, head of tho Tourist Department, who will be in charge of the commercial department of the High Commissioner’s office, were entertained by tho Ministry. Advantage was taken of the occasion to bid farewell to those heads of departments, who have lately been retired.
