ARREST IN MADRID. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph-Copyright. MADRID, April 20. A man, believed to be Windell, has been arrested at Madrid in connection with the London and Southwestern Bank robbery in September ' last.

(A daring bank swindle was reported on September 28 from overhearing a secret code. Word was received at the Haralo&den branch of the London and South-Western Bank, intimating the transfer thence of £750 belonging to a customer received at tbo Catford branch, where an account was forthwith opened. The supposed customer withdrew £290 and departed in an automobile to repeat the same operation at seven other branches, each of which received similar notice. The total amount lost by the bank through the swindle was £2320.)
