CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

The Charitable Aid Board met yesterday; present—Messrs F. Sorrell (chairman), D. M’Millan, B. P. Manliire, J. Davison, G. W. J. Parsons, W. ltadclilte, C. J. Harper, G. Bodford, J. Wolfe, Major Burgess and Mrs Dunkley.

The chairman reported that the question of supplies for the Ashburton and Memorial Homo annexes had been referred to a sub-committee. The Samaritan Homo Trustees had amended their requisition, but so far no information had been received by the Board respecting the amount of voluntary contributions.
