THE VOLUNTEERS.
The fourth battalion parade of the year was held at Timaru on Monday evening, when about 160 men of the three infantry corps and the battalion band were on parade. LieutenantColonel Beckingham was in command. Long-service medals for sixteen years were presented to Lieutenant Holdgate and Sergeant Collins, of the Timaru Rifles.
