The National Directory of tho United Irish League has re-elected Mr Redmond president. Tho report declared that tho activity of the branches had never been more manifest or the tone and spirit more satisfactory. Owing to inquiries and representations made by tho organisation, 2000 tenants were restored by Lord Londonderry at Belfast. The next general election would bo one of the most critical since the Unionist Party had been formed, be’eauso the Liberals, if returned, would say that they bad a mandate for Home Rule.
