The Arbitration Court ratified the agreements entered into in respect of the tinsmiths and sheet-metal workers’award and the hotel proprietors, fish shop, restaurant and tea-room omplbyees. A largely-attended meeting of the Dressmakers’ Union was held at the Trades Hall last evening, the president), Mrs Wilson, in tho chair. The evening was mainly devoted to discussion of proposals regarding wages and general conditions of work, the tailorcases and pressera’ award being taken as a basis. It was decided to bold another meeting on the following Monday.
