CHRISTCHURCH CONFIDENCE.
HOW IT HAS BEEN GAINED A young man went, to a wealthy manufacturer a short time ago, and asked for employment. “ What can you do?” the manufacturer asked, and the young man proceeded to tell in glowing terms of his wonderful ability. “ But. I don’t want to know -what you say you can do,” the man ' replied. “ Bring me recommendations from people I know and can trust.” It’s the same way with medicines. People don’t want to know what the manufacturers say they can do, but what those who have used them say they have done. It is such facts as the following. gratefully given by Christchurch people, which have gained public confidence here :—Mrs J. J.
