Sir Bampfylde Fuller, late Governor of Eastern Bengal, in a letter to the “ Times,” emphasises the uneasy and dangerously mutinous feeling existing ill India, which is the result of the' people’s belief that their rulers have grown afraid. The “Times”, considers that events havo justified the prudent and moderate proposals which terminated Sir B. Fuller’s Indian career.
