Castle Point—Wind, N.W., light; barometer 30.05, thermometer 57; cloudy, sea modcrate. Wellington—Wind, north broeze; barometer 30.11, thermometer 57; fine. Captain Edwin's forecast, telegraphed at noon yesterday, is as follows:—" Northerly moderate to strong winds; tides moderate; soa moderate; glass fall slowly." Captain Edwin reported at 5 p.m. : " Strong south to east winds northward of Napier and '-New Plymouth, and with rain between Napier and East Cape. Strong westerly thence southwards, and falling barometer everywhere." MR PATJLIN'S FORECAST. Mr Paulin telegraphed yesterday morning as follows:—All stations are warned of heavy weather over the Tasman Sea after sixteen hours.
