SUPREME COURT.
Mr Justice Dennieton will sit in Banco at the Supreme Court to-day and to-morrow. The following business has been set down for hearing: Arbitration Act in re William Minson (Mr" Cassidy), application for agreement; Hopkins v. Price, application to make award a rule of Court (Mr Russell); counter-applica-tion (Mr Alpers) to set aside award; Hagger v. Lyons (Mr Alpers), case on appeal; Milne v. Shiel and Co. and others (Mr Alpers), caee on appeal. His Honor will sit in Chambers on Friday. [Per Press Association'.] WELLINGTON, May 12. Before Mr Justice Cooper this morning several prisoners were sentenced: Alex. M'Donald, for theft and forgery, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Frederick William Jores, for several forgeries, got two years' imprisonment. William George Tustin, for a breach of the bankruptcy; law, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, to date from November 18, the prisoner to bo treated as a misdemeanant of the first division. Ernest Wehrstedt. for theft, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
