CAPTAIN EDWIN’S FORECAST. Captain Edwin’s iorocast, telegraphed at. noon yesterday is as follows: —“Northerly moderate to strong winds; glass fall slowly. Captain Edwin reported at 5 p.m.:— Moderate to strong southerly winds, changing to•ward* cast, arc to be expected northward of Napier," Tanpo and Manukau Heads, and moderate to strong winds principally from the northward elsewhere.” Captain Edwin’s forecast to May 17: 41 Moderate to strong southerly winds, . changing eastward at places northward of East Cape, Taupo and Mannkau Heads, moderate to strong from, tho northward, changing towards west, in all other parts of Hhe country until May* 14, and after that date high winds from the northward, and probably rain.’
