CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, February 15. (Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) Remaxdeb.—Richard Legge, who was charged with having assaulted one Antonio Fernandez, so as to cause him actual bodily harm, was remanded until ■Wednesday. Dhunkevness.—A first offender was fined ss, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. Alleged Theft.—John Trembath (Mr Malley) was charged with having stolen two sets of harness, valued at £l2 18s, from the Amuri Butchery Company. He was remanded for a week, bail being allowed, himself in £IOO and one surety of £IOO.
