AMUSEMENTS.

OPERA HOUSE. There was a large audience at the Opera House last evening, and the programme w T as received with marks,of approval. Jurvis and Martin’s comedy juggling had a very favourable recep--tie®, and Mr George Sturm’s work n« a gymnast juggler was greatly appreciated. The Ell wood family was successful in its drawing-room, musical entertainment, and Miss Nelie Maher’s sand-dancing was very popular. The Marlowe Sisters, the Ahlbergs and Mr Dave Warne supplied acceptable’'items, and the bioscope pictures were a welcome feature of tne programme. , ELECTRIC BIORAMA: The Electric Biorama Company’s entertainment, conducted by Major Perry of the Salvation Army, attracted a large audience to the Salvation Array Barracks last evening. The pictures were reproduced exceedingly' well, and a judicious selection of subjects made the whole entertainment interesting and amusing. The Austral Band played selections during the evening, and illustrated songs were sung by members of the company. The company will give another entertainment this evening. ■ . THEATRE ROYAL. _ A concert will be given at the Theatre Royal on Monday evening by Mis! Rose Blaney. An attractive programme has been arranged. ,
