Iu the morning tho company, with Lieutenants Fantham and_ Moody in command, attended service at St John’s Church, when the Rev F. P. Feudal! preached an appropriate sermon. Captain Borthwich and a few other members of tho Rangiora Rifle Company joined in the parade. In tho afternoon visitors were received at the camp. The Rangiora Brass Baud was to have played the company to- church, and also to have given a programme during tho afternoon, but owing to influenza having laid up the bandmaster and most of the cither cornet players-, the bund could not turn out. ' Some useful work was done by the mounted company during the camp, and the men derived benefit from the evening lectures given by Staff Sergeant-Major Clements.
