The sale opened very slowly, but as it progressed prices improved ’to the extent of Is 6d to 2s per bead. Quotations— Best wethers 23s 6d to 27s 6d, extra to 28s 6d, medium to good 21s to -3s, light from 16s to 18s 6d, ewes 13s to 17s extra to 22?, inferior 11s 6d to 13s. La mbs.—Boo were penned, prices for prime lambs were much the same as those of last week, but unfinished sorts ttvre easier. There was a very small yarding of good quality and in consequence prices showed a large advance.
