ENTERTAINMENTS.
Tho members of the Wainui Riflf Club held their second annual dan©» on Friday, a large number being present. The prizes won in club matches were presented, and a presentation was made by the members to Mrs-War-, ner for her kindness in supplying refreshments at the range. The bachelors of Lyttelton held their annual ball in the Lyttelton Club Hall on July 28. . About seventy couples attended, and the excellent arrangements made by the committee were ?
