ALLEGED SLY-GROG AT THE EXHIBITION.
PREMISES RAIDED. For somo time past the police have had suspicions that, liquor was being isokl within the Exhibition grounds, a strictly no-license area. Last evening, Station-Sergeant Norwood and two constables, accompanied by Sub-Inspector Dwyer, armed with a_ search-war-rant, examined certain .premises and found a large quantity of stout and ale in bottles. This was confiscated and removed to the, police station. Altogether there wore 107 bottles. It is understood that Court proceedings will be taken.
