Yesterday afternoon a further meeting was held at the Road Board Office, Rangiora, to discuss the proposal to hold a 100 miles road race. Mr J. Kennedy was in the chair, and there were representatives present from Cust, Kaiapoi Cycling Club, and the Raugiora Athletic Association. The secretary, Mr W. M’Allum, reported that he had communicated with all the cycling clubs in Christchurch and North Canterbury, and also with- cycle manufacturers and age rids, and had received a few favourable replies.
