BANDS AND “WONDERLAND.”

TO THE EDITOR. . Sir, —When tlie Exhibition authorities were engaging bands the price asked was considerably over the sura the hands nre getting now, but, looking at it patriotically-, they decided on £4 £ peiTOrmance, and tliirty Reason tickets. Now the “ Wonderland 31 pro-prietai-y, seeing such a low price, made arrangements with the Commissionera for the bands to play for them for the same price which, I consider, is not British. They do not give any passes to the bandsmen, and If they want a ride on any of the side-shows they have to pay for it. Mr Baird said there was every convenience for bands there* but I have not seen any yet. The rotunda is only big enough for a BB player.—-I am, etc., BANDSMAN.
