EGG-LAYING COMPETITIONS.

BLENHEIM. [Pei? Press Association.] n BLENHEIM, November 17. The total for the twenty-eighth week of the egg-laying competition was 2611, and the total now is 56,070. The highest layings for the week were Allan and R. M’Callum, both White Leghorns, 35 each, A. R. Thomson, White Leghorns 34, Murphy, Silver Wyaudottes 34, Lcger, White Leghorns 84. The leading pens to date are:— Brookes 768, Agricultural and Pastoral Association <SB, Mrs Kodson 717, Brow Poultry Farm 704, Marlborough Hotel 696, all White Leghorns.
