[Pee Peess Association'.] DUNEDIN, November > 18. Mr Janies Sim, an old settler in the Tapanui district, and for some years a member of the Otago Education Board, died on Saturday, "in his seventysixth year. The funeral of Mrs J. A.-Millar’, wife of the Minister of Labour and Marine, took place on Saturday, and was very largely attended by every class of the community. The Premier came specially from Invercargill to be present, and each Government department was represented. . The Rev 0. S. Bowden officiated at the grave. The bereaved husband has received ' messages of sympathy and condolence from all parts of the colony, and from the Governor and numerous labour bodies.
