THEATRE ROYAL. "SI ii bad the Sailor” continued its successful run at the Theatre Royal last evening, and the piece drew a very large audience, which appeared to bo just as well entertained os its predecessors. The interest in and enjoyment of the pantomime, with its varied and beautiful scenery, has not abated in any particular. It is announced that tho present programme will be continued till Wednesday evening, and that a second edition of tho present pantomime will bo introduced' at a matinee performance on Thu re day afternoon. OPERA HOUSE. At the Opera House last evening .Fullers’ Vaudeville Entertainers re-' peated tho programme introduced on Saturday. _ There was again a very largo audience, and the performance was distinctly successful. In addition to the ordinary comicalities, burlesque and buffoonery, there were items of a different character, such as the performance of Book, a lightning sketch artist, and the Musical Ellwoods. HUMOROUS RECITAL. I In the Choral Hall this evening, the Rev Dr Ncsbit, of Dunedin, will give a humorous recital, entitled “ Queer Folk in the Sbaws.” Dr Nesbit has made for himself quite a colonial reputation as an entertainer, and his recitals in Wellington and Dunedin have proved most successful. Musical items will be contributed during tho evening. THE COLOSSEUM. The .attendance at the Skating Rink yesterday was quite up to the average. At the evening session a half-mile race for boys under sixteen, was won by Master G. Pieroy, with Master J. Elstob second._ To-night there will be a musical 'chairs competition, for which a largo number Of skaters have entered.
