Mr Earnshaw, solo violinist, who has opened a violin academy at Wardell’s Buildings, will shortly give a recital- in this city.. Particulars are advertised. The annual meeting of subscribers of tho Lincoln Public Library will be held on Tuesday evening next, at 7.30. Mir T. E. Taylor will lecture in East Belt Metliodist Schoolroom on Tuesday next, in aid of a fund for the renovation of the Young Women’s Classroom. Ho will take as his subject "My Trip to Other Lands, and Notes by the Way.” A lantern lecture will be given by the Rev .Lewis H. Ingram, in Trinity Congregational Church, on ' Tuesday next. The subject of tho lecture will bo “Into the Heart of Africa.” The Addington Workshops’ picnic will be held at Otarama on February 3.
