MARKET REPORTS.

HORSES. There were 81 horses entered at Tattersall’s on Saturday, and they met with rather a dull sale. Best draughts realised up to £42 10s, harness horses, best; £ls to £2l, medium £lO to £l4, hacks up to £lO. PIGS AND POULTRY. Pigs were in poor demand. Suckers and weaners brought 4s 9d to 7s 6d, stores 8s to 15s. The range of prices for poultry was: —Hens 2s to 2s 9d per pair, pullets 4s to ,ss, roosters 6s to 6s lOd, smaller sorts 2s 6d to 5s 6d, ducklings 2s 6d to 4s 6d, goslings 4s to 7s 6d. LEESTON. On account of the holidays, there was not a large attendance at the fortnightly stock sale held at Lceston on Friday. The following were the prices realised:—Sheep: 18 cross-bred ewes 12s 3d, 50 cross-bred ewes and 60 fat lambs (all counted) 10s, 10 fat crossbred ew'es 13s, 26 merino ewes 6s, 27 merino wethers ss, 30 crces-bred ewes ss, 30 do 7s lOd, 12 cross-bred ewes ICs 6d. Pigs; There was a small entry of baconers, realising 29s to 355, heavy ones to 38s, equal to 3d per lb. A small entry of porkers made from 22s 6d to 265, equal to 3id per lb. Stores were a poor entry. Large made from 22s 6d, medium 12s to ISs, suckers and weaners from 3s 9d upwards. The cattle pens were sparsely occupied, prices ruling on a par with last Addington rates.
