The reports as to the boating incident off Waikatfa Pa, some miles from Pioton, are conflicting. The rumour that three yourig Maoris were drowned was repeated to-day, but later information is that, though the boat was capsized by a gust of wind, all the occupants were saved. DUNEDIN, December 30. Mr James Pryor, aged sixty-eight, residing at Tomahawk, died suddenly last night while undressing.
