Annette, galloped six furlongs on the sand in Imin 19sec, but broke down badly, and is not likely to race again for some time. Quarryman held Clanohattan for a mile and a quarter in 2min 21soo. Lady Annie ran six furlongs in Imin 21sec, pulling up quite sound. Huascar, Nightfall and Cuneiform were not extended. Gay Spark covered a couple of rounds on tho tan, the last six furlongs in Imin 20seo. Hohoro and Landlock, assisted by Lark over the. last five, ran oix furlongs on the sand in Imin SJsec. Paritutu traversed a couple of rounds at a good three-quarter pace. Carl Rosa easily beat Discoverer ever six furlongs in Imin 22 l-sseo. Monoform, Scatty and Delania finished in tire order named over a mile on the, sand in Imin- -jjJseo. Gladstone held Mahutonga. at tho end of a mile and a half on the sand in 2min Alsec. Gladstone went well. Full Cry had a length advantage of St Bill over six furlongs in Imin 23seC. Jewellery galloped once round in 2min llsec. Sir Gilead, Armistice, Puliipuhi. Heroism, Souitfish and Siiicia finished in the order named at the end of a mile and a half in 2min 52Jsec. Melodeon, alone, galloped a mile and a quarter in 2min 25Jsoc. Starsboot beat General Average and Nervine over six furlongs in Imin 22soc. King Billy, alone, ran a- similar distance in the same time. Lady Warwick spurted five furlongs in Imin lOsec. After breakfast, Pylades beat Le Beau and Ben Blair over five furlongs in Imin, SSsec. Inglis beat Little Mabel over six furlongs in Imin 25seo. A number of other horses did useful work.

A meeting of the Auckland Racing Club was held to-night relative to an unregistered partnership concerning the ownership of tho three-year-old Apologue and the two-year-old Sweet Alice. It was decided that both horses should be disqualified for all races for whicn they have been -wrongfully entered. Apologue is, therefore, ineligible to start for the Auckland Cup, Summer Cup, A.R.C. Handicap and Derby, and Sweet Alice for two races. These two horses wero submitted by auction recently by fhe former.partneis, J. B. Thorp and R. Acland, tho latter buying, the pair for 1000 guineas and 300 guineas. - Mahutonga is still favourite for fhe Cup at 3 to 1. Quarryman raid Paritutu are quoted at 4to 1 each. Owing to a good gallop this morning Glenowlet has increased in favour for the Railway Handicap. HTJRUNUI HACK RACES.
