FARM SCHOOLS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland have agricultural schools, whereas New Zealand is without a State Agricultural College. Thousands of pounds are annually spent on technical schools, where hoys are taught town trades, and there is no inducement held out for any of our boys who want to follow a country life. Ihe ■Wellington Education Board are, I believe, considering this question, and I think that the Farmers’ Union and, the Trades Council should take action.—l am, etc., 8. PEARSON.
