There was no improvement in the weathyr this morning, and the" tracks were in such 'a sloppy condition that nothing beyond halfpace exercise was attempted. After breakfast Tupara (Cahill), Scottish Minstrel Q. Scoullar) and Graduated Tax (Nolan) were associated in a schooling task over four flights of hurdles, the three giving a very creditable display of jumping. Calibre was out walking, and showed unmistakable signs of lameness, while Solution has recovered from her attack of kidney complaint. Mahutonga, who arrived on Wednesday, has been out exercising on the roads daily since liia arrival. The racehorses Ghoorka, Achilles, Marguerite, Chivalry and Boris arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Warrimoo yesterday morning.
