BUILDERS' CONFERENCE.

[Pes Pbess Association.] TIMARU, October 26. The delegates, representing about 800 builders in the colony, who are holding their annual meeting .here, have, during the last two days, been engaged in conference with delegates from the recently-formed Institute of Architects practising in New Zealand. The principal business has been the consideration of new conditions of contract. The result is that now conditions of contract have been agreed to by both sides, and these will be brought into use not later than December 1 next This means that the deadlock between architects and builders is now at an end, and a very large amount oi buHding work that has been delayed for some time will be immediately available. The next annual bmlaers conference will be held in Wanganui.
