FIRES.

[Pep. Press Association.] ROTORUA, October 23. The railway engine shed was burned at 3 a.m. Two locomotives were partially destroyed. The alarm was given by a cleaner, but when lie saw it the shed was in full blaze. Traffic was delayed in consequence, but another engine was obtained from Auckland to take on the afternoon train. The police received information on Monday that a dairy, tho property of Mrs Mora, had been burned down at Gorman Bay on Saturday night. The building was insured in the. Victoria Office for £4O.
