MARKET REPORTS.

HORSES. Seventy-five horses were entered at Tattersail’s on Saturday. Prices realised were as followDraughts —Best £44 to £SO, medium £33 to £39 10s, aged and inferior £2O to £25. Harness horses best £l7 to £25, medium £l2 to £l6, hacks £6 to £l3. The entries included twenty-eight horses from the North Island, including half-draughts, which brought £22 to £29 10s, and harness horses, which fetched £ll to £lB 10s. PIGS AND POULTRY. Over 200 pigs were yarded. Suckers and woaners brought 5s 6d to 10s, stores 13s to 255. There was a fairly good entry of poultry. Fat roosters fetched 5s 9d to 6s 9d, smaller 3s 6d to ss, purebreds 10s to 20s, pullets 3s 6d to ss, purebreds 9s to ]2s, hens 2s 6d to 4s, ducks 3s 4d to ss, geese 5s 6d to 7s. KIRWEE ; On Friday, at the Kirweo market, there was only a small yarding. The entry comprised nearly all stores, only one lot of fats being penned. Ewes and lambs formed the bulk, shorn hoggets and wethers making up the balance. Very few farmers or others were present, and but few sales were made. Fat cross-bred ewes made 22s Gd, full to failing mouth cross-bred ewes, with iambs, 14s (all counted), aged do 11s 9d (all counted), four-tooth oross-bred wethers (shorn) withdrawn at 15s 4d, shorn cross-bred wether hoggets with- ■ drawn • at 13s.
