SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

A meeting of the Kaiapol District High School Committee, was held on Monday evening; present—Messrs Ellen (chairman), Clark, Templeton, Thorne, Johnson, Ashby, Keetley and Pack wood. The headmaster’s report for the quarter ending September 30 showed the roll number to be 396, and the average attendance 372. Votes of thanks were accorded to Messrs G. H. Blackwell and T. R. Leithead, for their gifts of prizes to the senior clauses. Accounts for £6 10s 7d were passed.
