The steamer left Newcastle at 11.15 a.m. on Friday, August 18, and had moderate northerly winds with a heavy south east swell till Monday last, when the wind went round to the south-west and blew a gale. On Wednesday tho gate moderated, and fine weather and light variable winds prevailed thence to arrival.
