At the tallow- auctions, 1875 casks were offered and 1375 sold. Prices are unchanged. SYDNEY, June 22. The last sale of the final series of wool sales has closed. There was a brisk demand, especially for new greasies. Prices were firm at yesterday’s rates. i MELBOURNE, June 22. Hides were very firm. Rates were unchanged. Tallow- —The market is unaltered.

There will be a public demonstration on meat dishes at the School of Domestic Instruction this evening, at seven o’clock. There will be a special meeting of the Canterbury United Horticultural Society at 8 p.m. next Friday. A meeting will be held e-at three o’ clock this afternoon, at Messrs Milner and Thompson’s, to make final arrangements for the Students’ concert, to be given by Mr G. Gibbs Jordan and Herr Henrich Kahn, in aid of Nurse Maude’s Home.
