TURBULENT JAPANESE LABOURERS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, LONDON,, May 23. Two thousand Japanese labourers on the island of Maui compelled some Korean labourers, by threats of death, to strike against a Russian overseer, and there were several fatalities. Police and militia from Honolulu restored order, and rescued the whites, who were besieged in the town of Lahaina.
