Pp.ess Association.] PALMERSTON NORTH, April 4, Tho following horses have been scratched for all engagements at the Manawalu races: —Matakokiri, Hukaaka, Camiie Chief, Lady Wayward, Chryseis and Probable. The Manawatu Racing Club’s Autumn Meeting will bo commenced to-day. The fcHewing horses may run prominently in their respective engagements:—Telegraph Handicap, Ballarat; Hack Welter Handicap, Maniapoto; Hack Hurdle Handicap, Wind; Hanawatu Stakes, Achilles; Hurdle Handicap, Trumpery; Champion Hack Plate, Lady I.jer.ora; Longbum Handicap, Regulation; Electric Hack Handicap, Maniapoto.
