OBITUARY.

News was received in Timaru yesterday of the death in London of Mr Duncan M'Laron,' the well-known sheepbreederand agriculturalist, who" sold his farm, Storcroft, near Timaru, some months ago, and- revisited the Old Country. Mr M'Laren was an old colonist, who was farming for some time in North Canterbury. Ho was a member of the Waimate, and later of the Levels County Councils, and for some years a member of the South Canterbury Hospital Board. He was a s t>rominent member of the Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association, and was frequently appointed a judge of longwools at Christchurch and Timaru shows..
