OTAGO METHODIST SYNOD.

[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, November 23. At the Otago Wesleyan Synod meeting the Rev Henry Eamsbottom was unanimously passed in hia third year. It was resolved to start a new mission at Winton, comprising Winton, Hillend, Oreti Plains, Heddon Cush, Otipiri, Dipton and Lumsden. The Rev C. H. Laws was granted permirssiou to visit England in 1905, a probationer to be sent as supply. The Rev Josiah Ward was elected to represent the district at the Wellington Conference, the Rev A. Mitchell being substitute representative.
