OPERA HOUSE.

•The programme inaugurated at the Opera House on Saturday night by Fuller’s Entertainers has already been stamped with the hall-mark of popularity, and last night’s performance was but another confirmation of the previous successes. Tho audience was ai large one and! it was thoroughly appreciative of the entertainment, applauding all the turns with vigour and' enthusiasm, Tire Bertotos made a hit with their pleasing military song “ The AngloSaxon Tongue,” which was imperative!}" re-demanded and their other numbers were quite successful. Mr Frank Harwood, who is billed to make his bust appearance in Christchurch this evening, sang several descriptive songs in good style, and Miss Tillie Dunbar confirmed her claim to popular favour by her skilful rendering of a couple of serio-comic numbers. Miss Florrie Leigh was successful also in her interpretation of compositions of a similar class. Zamoni, whose stay in Christchurch is soon to be ended, gave a clever ventriloquial performance, and produced! a number of interesting shadow pictures. Mr S. Wilson’s character impersonations were as successful as ever, and ether members of the company gave acceptable turns. 'The programme will be repeated to-night.
