United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. NEW SOUTH WALES TRADE. SYDNEY, January 2. The imports to Sydney during the past year were of £20,500,000 value, a decrease of £750,000. The exports were £20,450,000, an increase of £3,350,000 compared with the previous year. In'both instances .about £850,000 should be deducted to cover the amount of transhipments. The gold received at Sydney Mint was 723,341 ounces,/compared with 675,832 last year. . The Commonwealth revenue returned to 1 New South Wales for the halfyear was £198,000 less than the, corresponding last half. TIME SIGNALS. Time signals were successfully exchanged with Washington yesterday. Tli e last message was received in Sydney 13g seconds after leaving Washington. VICTORIAN REVENUE. MELBOURNE, January 2. The State revenue for .the half-year is £58,000 less than the previous corresponding half-year, the amount returned by the Commonwealth showing a falling off of £73j000. The gold received at the mint for the year was 819,714 ounces, against 784,746 for the previous year. GOLD. PERTH, January 2. • The gold received at the mint for the year was 1,457,662 ounces.
