The Transvaal surplus of £300,000, men- ::• tinned by Mr Chamberlain, -will be .after ('paying both loans. ■ ; It is expected that the loan -will be covered twenty-fold. It is also anticipated , -that the allowance will be slightly to the *•: advantage of the allottees. .The currency .'.will be far twenty-five years. Dealing in scrip has taken place at per cent premium. There aro large French and American remittances, and the Bourse in Paris is favourably influenced. "I THE PROSPECTUS. "■ }. LONDON, May 7. ■ The prospectus of the Transvaal loan, of .thirty millions has been issued at 3 per --'cent par, (Received May 8, 11 p.m.) LONDON, May 8. The Transvaal loan runs half a century, ■' but the Transvaal is entitled to redeem it in 1823. The first dividend is payable in - .November. There has been, a great rush for prospectuses, and already the loan has been subscribed eight-fold. It closes on ‘ Tuesday.
