Mails close for the .following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations: — Mails per express to Dunedin and South close daily at 10.30 a.m.; late fee, i.e., letters bearing Id additional stamp, 10.40 a.m.; also, on mail van up to 11 a.m.; books, newspapers, 10 a.m. SATURDAY, MAY 9. For Australian States, India, Hong Kong, China, Straits Settlements and 'South Africa, Noumea, also, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, etc., via Brindisi, due London June 22, per express, to connect with "VVarximoo, at 10.30 a.m,; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m.; mail van, 11 am. train. For Northern Ports, per Te Anau, at 4.20 pm.; late fee letters, 4.35 pm.; guard's van, 5.30 p.m. train. For Gisborne, per Gothic, at 10 am.; late fee letters, 10.15 am.; guard’s van, 10.55 am. . train. ,• .
