Mails close for the .following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations: — Mails per express to Dunedin and South close daily at 10.30 a.m.; late fee, i.e., letters bearing Id additional stamp, 10.40 a.m.; also, on mail van up to 11 a.m.; books, newspapers, 10 a.m. SATURDAY, MAY 9. For Australian States, India, Hong Kong, China, Straits Settlements and 'South Africa, Noumea, also, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, etc., via Brindisi, due London June 22, per express, to connect with "VVarximoo, at 10.30 a.m,; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m.; mail van, 11 am. train. For Northern Ports, per Te Anau, at 4.20 pm.; late fee letters, 4.35 pm.; guard's van, 5.30 p.m. train. For Gisborne, per Gothic, at 10 am.; late fee letters, 10.15 am.; guard’s van, 10.55 am. . train. ,• . For Dunedin, also Australian Stales, to connect with Warrimoo, per Murayca, at 3 pm.; late fee letters, 3.15 pm.; guard’s van, 4 pm. train. For Northern Ports of New Zealand and "Westport, per Hotomahana, at 7.20 pm.; late fee letters, 7.35 pm.;_ guard’s van, 8.35 p.m. train. MONDAY", MAY -11. For Northern. Ports and Westport, per Penguin, at 3 p.m.; late _feoGett-rs, 3.15 pm.; guard’s van, 4 pm. train. Mails for South Africa close at Melbourne on May 11 and 27. Mails for Rarotonga and Tahiti, and Pcnrhyn Island, per Taviuni, close at Auckland on May 19, at 4 p.m. Mails for Fiji, per Moura, close at Auckland on May 20, at 11 am. ' Mails for South America, via Rio and Teneriffe, and parcel post parcels for United Kingdom, per Athenfo, close at "Wellington about May IS.
