The removals of disqualifications from players fey the 'Auckland! and Wanganui Unions ■were endorsed. The Nelson Union's application for the.. rembval of disqualifications from two players was refused. The following were appointed to select the. New Zealand representative team for the New iSout'h Wales and! Queensland tour:—Messrs V. 'Murray (Auckland), J. 0. Facts (Wellington), F. T. Evans (Christchureh), and the selector to be this -week: appointed by the Otago Ru;by Union. The selectors are to meet (in Wellington) not later titan June 20 to pick t'h-a team, -which,, 'will leave. for Australia on July 11. This team is ,to iplay a match in Wellington on, the same day that it departs for Sydney. It was decided to suggest to the N&xr South Wales Union that the last mritc'h of the tour should 'be played 1 at Sydney on Tuesday, August 18, the team to leo.vc.for. home from Sydney -via Auckland on'Wednesday, August 19. It was unanimously resolved that the North v. South Island mafcdi should. bo played at Auckland on Wednesday, August 26, teams to be selected' 'by the aforesaid selectors for their respective Islands. Mr A. C. Norris was unanimously elected to bo manager of the New Zealand l team.' on its tour of Australia.
