Rotomahana arrived from Wellington at 8.30 a.m. yesterday. : The Wellington “ Post" states that Captain , Wooley, harbourmaster at Suva, and formerly one of .the Union Steamship Company’s commanders, has been sent to Scotland to purchase a new steamer for the Fiji Government. The s.s. Wakatif arrived from Akaroa, via .the Bays', at 11.45 a.m. yesterday. ~ The s.s. Perthshire arrived from Picton at 12.30 p.m. yesterday. She is now commanded by Captain Cremer, and is to load frozen meat and -some general cargo for London. The Huddaxt-Parker s.s. Victoria is to arrive from Melbourne, via southern ports, this merning, and to leave for Sydney, via Wellington, this afternoon. The s.s. Kini left for Greymouth at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. The auxiliary screw schooner Huia arrived .from Kaipara yesterday evening.
