The deceased, who was well known throughout New Zealand, was going Home for the benefit of his health, which had been in- . different for the last six months. His wife and two children are, at present in Auckland. On Sunday Mrs Young, late resident of ; Kaiapoi, died at the age of eighty years. Deceased was one of the Canterbury pioneers, having come to New Zealand! in one • : of the early ships. The funeral will leave her late residence, Church Bush, Kaiapoi, to-day at 1.30 p.m. for the Presbyterian Cemetery, Rangiora. (
